📜 Text of Article 95 (Simplified)

🔹 Clause (1): When the Speaker is Absent or Office is Vacant

If the Speaker is not available (due to absence, resignation, removal, or death), the Deputy Speaker will act as Speaker.


🔹 Clause (2): When Both Speaker and Deputy Speaker Are Absent

If both the Speaker and Deputy Speaker are absent, the President may appoint any other member of the Lok Sabha to perform the duties of the Speaker.
