🔹 When a resolution for the removal of the Speaker or Deputy Speaker is under consideration:

  1. The Speaker or Deputy Speaker shall not preside over the sitting of the Lok Sabha during the discussion of that resolution.

  2. However, they can still be present in the House and take part in its proceedings, but cannot vote on the resolution except when there is a tie (only the Speaker can use a casting vote in such case).
